About ABA Media

Where it began

In 1999, Bro. Jerry Smith and John Bryant spent hours in prayer and discussion about the way God was opening doors, the great need among our churches for a video ministry, and how Jerry's gifts and talents could effectively help the missionaries and churches of the ABA. The result was the forming of ABA Media.

Our desire was — and still is — to be a blessing to missionaries, ministries and churches throughout the ABA. Many of you have partnered with us to accomplish this task, and because of monthly financial supporters we have been able to work on location around the world.

Where we are now

Our desire has not changed, but the methods required to reach the current generation are always evolving. Today, ABA Media focuses on two areas:

• Technical Training & Equipment Installation — from purchasing, troubleshooting and repairing cameras, sound equipment, software and computers, to streaming services online and training the volunteers who run it all.
• Video & Audio Production — producing videos on location, as we have for years. These films help raise support and awareness for missions, advertise churches in their communities, and provide teaching material in various languages.

A new chapter

Today, ABA Media is sponsored by Nevill's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and led by Director Chance Lindsey — carrying the same mission into a new generation of media: sharper tools, the same Great Commission.

How we operate

To keep from being a burden on other ministries, we do not charge for our work. Instead, we trust God to provide for our needs through individuals and churches. Financial support pays for plane tickets, cameras, field gear, editing equipment, traveling expenses, staff and operations.
